As long-time Musical Director for such legendary artists as Mickey Rooney, Anna Maria Alberghetti, Kay Starr and recently Shirley Jones, Lynda Carter and Roslyn Kind, Sam Kriger combines pure technical versatility with a real grace of soul. "No one ever hires me just once," jokes Sam.

And it's true that most of Sam's professional relationships just last and last: he's been a vocal coach for Disney's Feature Animation division for over 15 years (including Brandy in "Cinderella" and Mel Gibson in "Pocahontas") and he has worked with DreamWorks in their Music department since their very earliest days.

Sam's highly inventive harmonic sense and style and his wide range of musical skills make him much in demand as a Musical Director, Conductor, Arranger and Pianist. His score for the critically-acclaimed feature film "Screenplay" underlines his ability to capture both mood and narrative in musical form.

While his eclectic range of abilities make Sam a natural choice for a wide variety of musical situations, his easy-going professionalism transcends genre. He has studied with masters such as Albert Harris, Russ Garcia and Dick Grove.

Sam makes his home in Los Angeles, where he enjoys the privilege of working with some of the best musicians in the world and also enjoys the privilege of being very happily married to actress Diane Vincent.
